Michael Gitau is an Emergency Services & Safety Consultant and a registered member of Professional Trainers Association. He is a consulting Instructor/Educator in Emergency Services & Safety with over 10 years’ experience. He is a Certified Instructor Member of American Heart Association, Fire Fighter 1 & 2 Instructor from United States of America, National Fire Protection Association and a CBRN & RN Trainer of Trainer. Moreover with vast experience in the field of Disaster management, Incident investigation, Risk audits, Safety Audits, Health, Safety & Security Training, firefighting and Emergency medicine short courses certified locally and internationally by various accrediting bodies and also have worked in both public and private sector institutions.
James Nicholl
Tribus Security Group
James Nicholl is currently the Managing Director Tribus Security Group a Subsidiary of Centum Investment. He is distinguished in his decorated military and commercial security career, spanning over 20 years. He has operated in both conventional and non-conventional units holding the highest level of secret clearance for the US & UK.
In his military career, James has gained operational experience being deployed on 3 tours in Afghanistan, 2 in Iraq, Various Balkan Deployments as well as Northern Ireland. He was awarded a CJO for Distinguished Service and Leadership whilst on operations.
Tribus – TSG has grown into a multi-million dollar company in under 12 months, as well as gaining various high-end technology distribution rights. The Tribus Team has also ventured into supporting various organizations, such as their recent MoU with the National Youth Service and alignment with the National Youth Council.
Francis Omollo Liech
KENYA FIRE BRIGADE ASSOCIATION (KENFIBA)
Francis Omollo Liech is the Secretary General Kenya Fire Brigade Association (KENFIBA). He has over 28 years experience as a fire fighter and Disaster responder here in Kenya. At retirement he held the rank of Division Fire Officer in Nairobi Fire Brigade. Together with other fighter fighters he founded KENFIBA in 2004. He has received training as a fire fighter here in Kenya at the Technical University of Kenya, in Poland and in Belgium
Eng. Okanga ANJICHI
He is a Professional Engineer & Safety Professional with broad experience in developing and managing health and safety programs and risk management within the oil and gas sector. He is a practicing Professional Engineer in Kenya and a Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya. He works with oil marketers within Kenya to develop emergency preparedness and response capacity to pollution incidents. He has responded to emergency incidents including fire incidents and marine pollution incidents. His experience spans the infrastructure, oil and gas and marine industries. Principal interests include: Fire Safety, Health & Safety legislation & policy, Personal Protective Equipment, Emergency Response and Safety in Design.

Head of Safety and Security Pevans East Africa – Sportpesa, a sporting and gaming company operating globally in Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, UK, Isle of Man with vast interests in Italy.
An experienced security Manager with over twenty (20) years work experience at both national and international levels. At the national level, I have served as a member of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and member of various County and Sub-County security committees at various levels and different occassions. Internationally I served and excelled in various United Nations Peacekeeping Missions. Consequently, I have acquired a wealth of experience in military leadership, operations, logistics, training, negotiations, administration, supervision and coordination.
MR. OMAR JASHO

A seasoned, all round security professional with many years of service in government and private sector. He has worked as a General Manager in Collidale security, security manager BAT Kenya, Special Project Manager at Armour Group and security advisor and consultant. As part of his CSR he has serviced in many capacities including nine years as a police reservist and St John’s Ambulance. H e is currently at Swissport Limited as the Corporate Security and Safety Manager/Cargo Manager since 2004.
GLADYS NYAGA

Gladys is a Practicing HSE advisor majorly in the construction industry with seven years experience in the energy sector. She has been involved in construction of geothermal power plant, 66/11KV substation,33/11 KV substation and currently working on 500 High Voltage Direct Current Station.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental studies, Nebosh International general Certificate in occupational health and safety, Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018. Currently pursuing my Nebosh I Dip in Occupational Health and Safety. Associate member of the Environment Institute of Kenya and registered associate expert with National Environment Management Authority. Currently she is working for Siemens Germany.
AUGUSTINE LOKWANG EKITELA
ACISMP (Association of Corporate and Industrial Security Management Professionals)
He is currently the Senior Advisor on Security, Peace & Border Initiatives and a member of Strategy Delivery Unit for Turkana County Government. He is a practicing security expert with a background in the military and fifteen (15) years’ cumulative experience gained from serving in government, corporate and humanitarian sectors involving coordination of projects on asset protection, conflict and public security risks. He is a Certified Security Management Professional, Member of the International Security Management Institute (UK), Director Idar Groups Security Services Limited and Warrant Africa Consultants Limited. Governance, Peace and Research are his other areas of interest as a founding partner of the Ateker Research Centre in Turkana, Kenya. He also serves as the Secretary General for Association of Corporate and Industrial Security Management Professionals of Kenya.
Lt. Col. (Rtd) Julius Ayub GITHIRI
NACADA
He is the current Chairman of NACADA – National Authority on the campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute of Professional Security studies (IPSS). A retired military officer with a total of over 40 years of local and International security training, experience and exposure, twenty of which he served in the Kenya Army and an additional 20 years in Corporate Security as a Regional Security Advisor covering, over 14 countries in the African Region as part of a multinational Global Security team. IPSS – Institute of Professional Security Studies, has partnered with ILU – International Leadership University in Developing Leaders of Integrity in the private security Industry.
IPSS is also spearheading the Secure Kenya 2030 strategy aligned with Kenya’s vision 2030 and the Governments Big Four to make Kenya a safe and secure country.
He is passionately dedicated to encourage excellence, standards, quality and ethics in the practice of the security profession through the enhancement of education, knowledge, and skills. I am committed to the professional transformation of the private security industry under the SECURE KENYA 2030 strategy.
Maj. ( Rtd ) Lucy Wairimu Mukuria

Major (Rtd) is a career psychologist. A pioneer military psychologist of the Kenya Ministry of State of Defense. A top 40 under 40 Women in Kenya 2016 recipient, holder of the Constitution medal, an Acumen fellow 2014, an Amani fellow 2017, author of the Children’s book series ‘Mutenyo and Friends- Persevering Traditional Play’.A thought leader in mental health wellness. A holder of Post graduate certificate in Social Innovation Management fellowship from The Amani Institute Nairobi, Leadership Fellowship from Acumen group, Polygraph testing diploma from Directorate of military intelligence, Masters in Counseling Psychology from United States International University-A (USIU-A) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and management minor USIU-A.
Mr. Samuel Chone Matano
A career security professional who initially started his humble career in marketing, finance, business administration and ultimately becoming the Group Head of security at NMG – Nation media Group. He has over 19 years experience in security related assignments as a GM security in BAT Kenya, EABL, Rift valley Railways and Mumias Sugar. His other CSR related security experience was as Chair of security sector board at KEPSA and member of the Police reform committee.
Mr. Silvanus Sewe

He is the current Chairman of Security Sector Board & Governor of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). He is also Director of Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA), Chairman BrainSpa Institute of Leadership and Technology, Founder Director of Kenya School of Adventure and Leadership (KESAL) and Director Kenya Private Safety and Security Federation and Director Global Forensic Services Limited.
He has extensive experience in training on areas such as Corporate Investigations, Corporate Governance, Computer Forensics and Security Management and consultancy at Kenya Institute of Criminal Justice Studies. He is a consultant with Silikon Consulting Group, Trainer at Institute of Human Resource Management on Leadership and Governance, lastly member of the advisory team of Kenya Professional Society of Criminology (KEPSOC).
